Post 100K Potluck
April 4, 2004
by T. Alan Place

The WSU 100K was held on Sunday April 4, in the best weather in memory. 100K participants usually have to run in survival suits. Following the race, Henry & Cathy Willmes once again hosted a post-100K potluck at their home in Moscow. The event was attended by members of Team DeMoura, including most of the Half-Fast 100K team, most of whom had cleaned up for the occasion. Some folks had traveled from as far away as Utah and New Mexico to run the 100K, and, more importantly, gorge at the potluck. The Half-Fasters won ribbons in the 100K. They brought their ribbons to the potluck and made sure everybody knew about them. A full moon contributed to the insanity, and the food was disgustingly healthy. Many thanks to Henry & Cathy.
