31st Annual Snake River Canyon Half Marathon
Saturday, March 6, 2010

A message from the 2010 Snake River Canyon Half Marathon:
Absolutely amazing. 688 finishers, 265 more than last year. All of this couldn't have been done without the efforts of volunteers including the Asotin and Moscow High School Cross Country Teams and our sponsors, Tri-State, Palouse Falls Brewing Company, ATP Beverages, Runners Soul, and Culligan.

Race results are below. Please look through them and make sure they are correct. Every effort was made to make the necessary corrections before posting. If something does look wrong, please email me at lwg104@yahoo.com. I will make the corrections as soon as possible.

Those that filled out envelopes at the race to receive shirts will receive them in 2-3 weeks. A shirt order will be made on Monday or Tuesday of this week.

Thank you all for participating in this years Snake River Canyon Half Marathon. It was my hope as a race director to make this a success, and I hope in all of your eyes that it was. Please feel free to email me with any concerns or improvements that can be made next year.

All clothing that was not retrieved at the 2010 SRCHM has been washed and will be in the foyer of the Incubator at the UI (121 West Sweet Avenue) beginning March 15. Whatever is not retrieved will be donated to Alternatives to Violence.

This 31st annual run along the winding Snake River between spectacular basalt cliffs will mark the start of the 2010 running season on the Palouse.  A record 423 runners and walkers crossed the finish line at the 30th Annual Snake River Canyon Half Marathon. Last year’s race drew participants from as far away as Boise, Seattle and even Vermont.  Most came from Moscow (111) followed closely by Spokane (107).  With this number of runners, the Palouse Road Runners are more committed than ever to put on a quality race.  With the help of Tri-State and our new group of co-sponsors, the 31st Annual Snake River Canyon Half Marathon will be better than ever.

Congratulations to Michael Bresson of Spokane
for breaking the men's open record
of 1:08:42 set by Stan Holman in 1992
with a time of 1:08:28!
