Nobody knows why we call this the "Up Town" run! It really is a pleasant run but it goes out into the Southeast of Moscow. It runs past Lena Whitmore Elementary School, past the soccer fields and turns back on East D Street (E D on the map) at the Junior High School. You run through scenic residential neighborhoods, both new and old. The three hills are steep enough to get your attention, but gentle enough for even the beginner. So go have fun, and take your mind off of the hills by trying to figure out why it is called Up Town! |
