Over the summer, the Palouse Road Runners hosts a series of races, free for PRR members and $5 per race for non members. Day of registration only. There will be coffee/refreshments at each race.
When: May 11, 2019 – 8 a.m. start.
Runners will complete a loop on gravel roads near Albion, WA and the Rose Creek Nature Preserve.
When: June 8, 2019 – 8 a.m. start.
Loop (actually less than 10k) starting and ending at Kamiak Butte parking area. Limited parking.
Headwaters Trail Run
When: July 20, 2019 - 8 a.m. start
A 5.5 mile loop from the parking area turning onto the Headwaters trail going counter-clockwise. Limited parking, carpooling recommended.
Moscow Mountain Trail
When: August 3, 2019 – 8 a.m. start.
A 6.2 (ish)mile loop entirely on trails starting and ending at the Warnick Road parking area.
Please meet at the Aquatic Center at 7:15 a.m. to carpool up to the start. Limited parking.
When: August 24, 2019 – 8 a.m. start
A 6.2 miles loop on gravel and paved roads starting and ending at Robinson Park, located in Latah County northeast of Moscow.
Runners will be scored (based on finishing place) in each race. A runner’s top four scores will make up their cumulative series point total, i.e. if a runner participates in all five races, only the top four will count towards the cumulative series point total.
The top male and female runners with the highest series point totals will be recognized and receive an award at the conclusion of the last race. Runners who participate in all five races, will also get an award, regardless of score. It pays to run more than a couple of races!
